Become a Neighborhood Volunteer Today

We have an enormous election coming up this year, and we have our work cut out for us in Georgia. The stakes have never been higher, and that's why our grassroots organizing starts today.

Across Georgia, voters are hungry for change and an end to the failed policies of the Republicans. Democrats believe we can create that change - schools that educate the next generation of Georgians, a stable economy where everybody has the opportunity to prosper, and clean air and water. But this change won't happen unless you get involved - today!

We need your help to spread our Democratic message on behalf of candidates from the Presidential race down to County Commission seats. By joining the Democratic Party of Georgia's Neighborhood Volunteer program, you can make a real difference in your community, our state and our county in less than an hour per week.

Our Neighborhood Volunteers are on the front lines of our campaign to take Georgia back. As a Neighborhood Volunteer, you'll contacting friends and neighbors in your Neighborhood and talking to them about our Democratic candidates and the issues that matter most.

Face-to-face contact is the most effective way to win votes for the Democratic team. Simply talking to friends, family members, co-workers or neighbors can make the difference in a close election. A personal message, delivered from a trusted source, is the key to winning in November.

Making the commitment now to take part in this program is the single most important thing you can do to ensure a Democratic victory in November.

By pledging to be a Neighborhood Volunteer, you are committing to doing the following between now and Election Day 2008:

  • Contact at least 25 targeted Democratic and Independent voters in your neighbor at least three times before Election Day.
  • Along the way recruit two more Neighborhood Volunteers who will do the same.
  • Participate in at least one Democratic Party of Georgia grassroots workshop in 2008.

SIgn-up today and help take back your community, our state and our country!
