The Douglas County Democratic Party will hold its monthly meeting on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 10 a.m. Speakers Marzine Richardson and GayNell Caldwell, both Douglas County residents, and the Atlanta Labor Council and ATU Local 732 will discuss the forming of a union and community alliance called the "Obama Connection" to bring unions and voters together, as well as keeping the community informed on project such as HealthCare, jobs, the economy and etc.
