Volunteer

Christine Gomez is a student at Georgia Perimeter College studying psychology and law. Every week she spends a day working on our election protection program, calling and inviting people to events or helping with mailings. Christine also works at a local restaurant and in her spare time volunteers with Aid Atlanta and the Humane Society.

Jan spends her Wednesdays lobbying state legislators in the morning and then helping us in the afternoon. She is currently helping revitalize county parties across Georgia by calling and inviting people to get involved. Jan herself is an active North Fulton Democrat who says "its fun to volunteer" and asks everyone to "come on down and help us out."

Pat Priest lives in Oconee County, where she is very involved with the Oconee County Democrats. She likes to do win-win projects; she's currently planning an energy-efficiency workshop that will be held at a local arts foundation building. Volunteers will spread out and put what they've learned to good use right then and there in the historic building -- learning while helping a cherished institution. Priest thinks it's important for Democrats to build social networks and to show what we care about when planning events.
