Executive Internship

Executive Internship

Overview

The primary mission of the Democratic Party of Georgia (DPG) is to provide support to Democratic candidates at every level of government, from municipal and county offices to U.S. Senate and the White House.

The Executive Internship is designed to train applicants to work in several departments within a political environment.  It is a well-rounded experience intended to prepare applicants for future leadership opportunities with a political party or campaigns.  It is a chance for applicants to grow professionally while supporting the causes and beliefs of the Democratic Party.

These internship opportunities will increase applicant's political perspective, garner college credit (where applicable) and provide merit based promotions and incentives.  Executive Internship is non-paid for all applicants.  However they can lead to paid and non-paid positions (conventions, meetings, special events) within the State Party or a local campaign.
