On Saturday, April 19th, 2008, all 13 Democratic Party of Georgia Congressional Districts will assemble to elect Delegates to send to the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado, August 25 - 28, 2008.
Delegate Candidate Training Workshops will be held throughout the state every Saturday between January 26, 2008 and February 23, 2008. Prior to attending a Training Workshop, download and review the 2008 Georgia Delegate Guide and Application on our resources page [1]; select a Training Workshop Location (dates and times located below); and RSVP with the Congressional District Chair corresponding to the training date that you would like to attend. Training Workshop attendance is not required to seek election, but it is recommended.
*Please be advised that if elected as a delegate, you will be expected to pay for your own transportation, hotel, and other costs. The estimated cost of these expenses is approximately $3,500 per delegate
