My name is Martin McConaughy. I am your Democratic Party candidate for Georgia Senate District 40. My values and determination will help reverse the bickering and "power-play politics" that wastes tax dollars without accomplishing promised goals.
Government is not working for us. It is time for a change!
When people asked me why I decided to run, I replied, "I want to move Georgia forward in realistic and beneficial directions, particularly in the areas of education, transportation, energy production and the protection of our public lands." If I am elected as your senator, I can improve your lives by fighting for you and the future of your children and grandchildren.
