Rally Against Tution Hike: State Capitol

Rally at the State Capitol

8:30 AM - We begin organizing at Hurt Park; this is only a couple of blocks away from the Capitol. We organize here to literally march to the Capitol as well as to make sure everyone is informed and on the same page (i.e. if we are walking down the street and John Q. Student gets pulled aside by a New York Times journalist, he or she will have an informed (not just an animated) opinion.)
9:30 AM - We begin to march toward the Capitol.
10:00 AM - Press Conference on the Capitol steps; the official "RALLY at the Capitol" begins. As the Senators and Representatives walk into session, they see the plethora of students outside the Capitol.
11:00 AM - Meetings with the various subcomittee members begin.
12:00 AM - The official rallying time ends (but does not by any means mean leave!!) as officials will be taking lunch around this time.
